I totally love these handles. I was using the handles that came with my Total Gym, the steel ones, and these just make working out so much easier. I can move from exercise to exercise with the flip of the wrist. Not so with the other handles. I can grip these so much easier and the lightweight of them doesn't stress my hands.

I purchased these hand grips at the same time I purchased the Total Gym having never used either. After receiving both I set up the gym and started using it. A week or so later I noticed I had not installed the soft hand grips. I still haven't. The metal handles that come with the Total Gym 1800 Club seem to work just fine. I rated this product 3 of 5 stars not due to any problem with the product but because they are not really necessary for using the Total Gym. They do seem to be well built and are comfortable in my large hands. I will keep them around in case I find a need for them later as I progress thru different exercises but for now they sit on the shelf.
